I was lucky to experience both one-on-one and group coaching with Omio during my role as Head of Marketing for a fast-paced scale-up business. In an environment where everything moved at the speed of light, agility and effective teamwork were critical to keep things on track to reach our ambitious goals. Coaching was an instrumental part of this, turning a group of high-performing individuals into a high-performing team that communicated better, collaborated more seamlessly and worked together to deliver results at the speed they were needed.

This leadership development program helped me realise what I was doing wrong when I started my new role. I was task oriented but failed to make connections along the way. My expectation was that everyone is paid to work and should deliver accordingly. This program helped me see where I was going wrong, starting from my self-awareness, to seeing others through a personal eye, collaborating the two and eventually help me better this through the use of digital. Our office is a happier office, and my direct reports are excited to work because they are cared for at their personal need level. I am thankful to this program for helping me turn my world upside down and reigniting the energy and enthusiasm for work and the people.

I’ve always been driven but I was reaching a point in my career where it was getting more difficult for me to answer the 'why'.
